Easy Smoky Chickpeas

These easy smoky chickpeas are deceivingly simple flavor bombs, ready to sidekick any of your summer dishes from salads to roasted veggies and beyond!

Equipment

  • Baking sheet or pan

Ingredients
  

  • 2 15-oz cans of chickpeas, rinsed and drained
  • 1/2 tsp each: salt, smoked paprika, dried oregano, garlic powder
  • freshly ground pepper, to taste

Instructions
 

  • Combine ingredients together and place them either on a cookie sheet lined with parchment (to make them crispy, in a single layer) or just in a baking dish (they steam this way and stay soft).
  • Bake at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.

Notes

I personally use about 1/2 cup or 6 ounces or so for my protein portion.
